Antonio, Angelica, Fiorenzo, Roberto - Famiglia Pomponio

Family. A serious word. Often overused. A word that can be self-contained or open to a whole new world. For the Pomponios, it meant embracing the world of olive oil, and therefore that of work and the land, rediscovering over time a distant, yet familiar, passion.

And so they’re back to square one, but more aware, enriched, and equipped to practice the ancient and highly modern art of making olive oil. The Pomponio family tradition is over a century old, with olive groves dating back as far as 1888.

“A model company that is constantly evolving, powered by renewable energy sources and attentive to the environment through the use of recyclable materials”

But his passion for oil blossomed again exactly a century later, when, by chance, an olive oil mill went up for auction, his father Antonio convinced his grandfather Umberto, a pioneer of organic farming, to get his hands dirty and oily again. It was then inevitable that the entire family would be involved, including his mother Angelica and young Roberto and Fiorenzo.
